DNA Supercoiling and Topoisomerases

Over the past few years, a variety of new discoveries have been made in the field of DNA topology and its control by topoisomerases, attracting interest from disciplines as varied as single-molecule biophysics, biochemistry, chemistry, structural biology, genetics, and clinical science. The workshop is intended to unite experts from all these disciplines and to hopefully spark a lot of interactions and collaborations amongst the participants.

Radiation Damage in Biomolecular Systems

The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) will be hosting the 2007 Annual Conference on Radiation Damage in Biomolecular Systems (RADAM’07) in Dublin, Ireland from 19th-22nd June, 2007. This conference series, launched in 2004, is the major conference of the European Science Foundation (ESF) Cooperation in Science & Technology (COST) Action in Physics P9 - Radiation Damage in Biomolecular Systems. This series of conferences seeks to promote the dissemination and exchange of scientific knowledge in the field of radiation effects in biomolecules.
